Dr. Moayeri is the Medical Director for Neurosurgical Oncology at Cottage Health in Santa Barbara, California where she currently focuses on neurosurgical care for patients with brain and spine tumors, epilepsy and cerebrovascular disease. She has extensive experience treating complex neurosurgical diagnoses starting during her neurosurgical residency atMassachusetts General Hospital Boston, then as an attending at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and most recently as a neurosurgeon within Northern California Kaiser Permanente. She has an interest in applying Illuminate’s technology to identify patient populations with neurosurgical diseases that require follow up and was excited to learn about the approach Dr. Steven Okuhn, Chief Medical Officer, was taking with vascular disease. Her goal is to use Illuminate to develop tools that can help deliver the best follow up and neurosurgical care.
