Gregory Lemense, MD

Illuminate Clinical Board Advisor

After obtaining his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University, Dr. LeMense attended Medical School at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine where he also completed his Internal Medicine residency. He then went on to complete his fellowship training in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. After completing his training, he established a private pulmonary and critical care practice which he managed and worked in for more than 15 years. In 2019, he accepted a position with Bozeman Health where his current work is dedicated to providing outpatient and interventional pulmonology services.

In his 25 plus years of pulmonary practice, Dr. LeMense acquired a special interest in the early detection and diagnosis of lung cancer, leading him to develop comprehensive incidental lung nodule programs in both Tennessee and Montana. Combining advanced diagnostic services using minimally invasive bronchoscopy techniques with lung nodule programs, Dr. LeMense has been able to make a significant impact on the care of lung cancer patients, by facilitating early diagnosis and thereby improving outcomes for those patients.
